Top 10 Lipsticks this Winter

Hello Girls, 

It's been a long time since I've updated my blog due to various blogs. Life has changed a lot after my last post long back in May, but now as I resume my blog today it feels great pleasure to tell you all that I'm officially a Graduate and also an MA English + Journalism student. Life's been a roller coaster since the last few months. As Winters have knocked many parts of the country, I thought of doing a quickie post on top lipsticks to rock this beautiful season. Winters calls for bold, dark and intense colors and also flaunting those Long Coats, jackets and stolls you've preserving all year. 

Let's begin with the list, I've jotted down 10 shades which will suit all skin tones. P.S. Most of them are in reds, comments are welcome for further knowledge :D.

1. Avon Ultra Color Matte lipstick in Matte Merlot

 Priced at just ₹375 this is a brilliant Merlot (deep grape wine) Color which will suit all skin tones,  and giving many brands a run for money. Plus it's moisture matte, what more could you ask for. XD 

2. Lakme 9 to 5 office stylist lipstick in Red Coat 

Decently priced at ₹425, this beautiful matte red can be worn during anytime of the day and it complements the Indian skin tone very well. 

3. Maybelline Colorshow Creamy Matte in Bold Crimson 

This was my new discovery this Durga puja and just one word for this - AMAZING. Priced at ₹325, this creamy matte lipstick is sure to put you in the spotlight, considering it's deep Color and lasting power. 

4. Colorbar Velvet Matte in All fired up

This is more of a chilli red colour, and has a velvety matte texture which could make your lips dry better apply a lip balm beneath. It is priced at ₹299 and available online and colorbar stores.

5. Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Mink

This was a gift from my friend, it's a creamy neutral shade which is ideally suitable for fair to medium skin tones. It is priced at $7.99 online, availability might be an issue. Alternate option for a neutral Color is Colorbar Velvet Matte in Bare. 

6. Street wear Ultramoist lipstick in Ruby Riddle 

This ones more of neutral pink Color for me, which works great during any time of the day and suits all the skin tones plus the best part is it being moisture matte and reasonably priced at just ₹220. 

7. Avon Ultra Color lipstick in Lovely Fuschia

Avon came up with some amazing Color + care formula lipsticks last year during Valentines. This one is a very creamy Fuschia Color which also works as a lip balm plus it is a very pretty Color for fair to medium skin tones, and I got it for ₹350. 

8. Oriflame pure colour intense in Pretty Purple

Priced at ₹179, this is a very deep and bold purple Color, medium to dark toned can easily pull of this Color. I would advise fair skinned beauties not to go for this one, for an alternative you can use Mac Rebel. 

9. Maybelline Bold Matte in MAT 5 

This is a beautiful cranberry toned Color with a moist matte texture, it can be used as a light stain or can be darkened to create a bold lip for a night out. It is reasonably priced at ₹400 and is easily available. 

10. Loreal Moist Mat in Arabian Night 

Now this one is a total jackpot for all skin tones, it is a beautiful violet Color with brown undertones with pure matte ingredients, compliments any look or outfit. Although the price maybe a little ouch factor for some ladies ₹899, check online for discounts though ;).

WINTER LIP TIP: As lips tend to get dry during this season apply a transparent lip balm beneath of you are using proper mattes. Also another thing you can do is apply the balm 20 minutes before applying your lip Color and then wipe it off, this will help in reducing the dryness and patches from your lips making them look even.
